Georgia Gives Day Sets Records, Looks to 2016

By midnight on November 12, 2015 GA Gives Day set a new record, bringing in $3,673,562, from 17,318 donations, to benefit 2,453 participating nonprofits—making it the biggest day of giving in Georgia's history.

Georgia Gives Day, an initiative of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN), inspires more Georgians every year to make a tradition of recognizing, sharing, and giving to the nonprofits who make a difference in their lives and communities. Since launching, Georgia Gives Day has raised more than $8.9 million for Georgia’s nonprofits.

The GA Gives Day initiative proves the potential of mass collaboration among nonprofits, foundations, companies, governments, and individuals. GCN created and leads this powerful, and growing, annual giving movement to highlight the needs of nonprofits and their impact.

And the giving continues. Next year’s Georgia Gives Day will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Nonprofits are invited to register now. You can give year round by signing up for the GIv360 platform and simply shopping at a participating Giv360 merchant.  Up to 5% of your purchase will go to the nonprofit of your choice.
