Thank You Atlanta!

Thank you Atlanta!

Atlanta has a lot of heart!

And this isn't about the Falcons beating the undefeated Carolina Panthers in the NFL. This is about Atlanta's heart of giving.

Of the 50 largest metropolitan areas, Atlanta, (Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA~MSA) was in the top FIVE listed as the most generous!

And the state of Georgia ranked 5th in the latest comparison of giving.

While we at Giv360 would like to take credit for the ranking, that wouldn't be fair as this statistic was from IRS data from years past, and the Giv360 app just went live.

But Giv360 has helped Atlanta keep this ranking in the future. A record-breaking $3.67 million dollars was raised on Georgia Gives Day 2015 , and the Giv360 app continues to help make it easier than ever to give.

With over 41 merchants joining in the last 2 months alone, we're well on our way to making Georgia climb up to the #1 spot.

While a lot of time, research and study has been spent on understanding why people give; the more important question to ask is "Why don't you?"

Giv360 makes it easy to be generous. You pick the non-profit you'd like to contribute to. You frequent the merchants you want to. You shop like you normally would. And your charity ends up reaping the benefits because the participating merchant sends 5% of your bill to your favorite charity.

It's a win-win for everyone- especially the wonderful charities that receive your donations. Charities like Operation Smile which provides life-changing surgery for thousands of children born with cleft. Or APFED (American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders) which helps patients and families cope with gastrointestinal disorders. These are just two of the thousands of non-profits who would love to receive your donations.

Anne Frank said it best, "How wonderful that no one need wait a single moment to improve the world."

By just taking a minute out of your day, whether at home or on your phone, you can download the Giv360 app and start giving today. It doesn't cost a penny to join. It's entirely free.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "Life's persistent and most urgent question is 'What are you doing for others?'"

Answer that question today.

You'll be glad you did.
